Research
- She conducts research in the field of plant biotechnology at the University of Évora.
- Her work focuses on plant molecular biology and physiology, plant–microorganism interactions, and the microbiome associated with agronomically relevant crops. She uses molecular tools and multi-omics approaches to understand the mechanisms underlying plant adaptation to environmental stresses and to contribute to more sustainable agricultural strategies

She has professional experience in a business environment and has participated in the supervision and co-supervision of internships and academic projects, as well as in higher education teaching activities, contributing to practical classes and the organisation of seminars in the field of biotechnology.
